bring it on 2013!

6.1.13

starting a new year is always refreshing. it makes me feel like i'm able to somehow start over with a clean slate. this is exciting, because there's always things we want to improve about ourselves and by starting a new year i feel like there's a few things i can improve on.
so here are a few of my "resolutions"
1. being healthier- overall! eating better and healthier, continuing to work out 3-4 x week and being as consistent as possible. honestly, the hardest thing for me is cutting back on my sweet thangs! i'm a lover of anything sweet- even since i was a little tyke! it's one thing i will try and master this year! (a little cliché, but true!)
2. it was my resolution last year and i failed miserably! but i would really love to learn spanish! i have always wanted to learn a second language and my hubs served his mission in mexico and still speaks fluently. he is willing to help, i just need to buckle down and get going!
3. this year is apparently going to be about being consistent, because my final resolution is to just be more consistent in doing things that are good for me. scripture study, temple attendance, going to bed earlier, along with eating healthier and working out.

so there they are. and now that it's in writing, there's no turning back.
good luck to you with your resolutions!

oh, and this outfit below was meant to be my "new years eve" outfit but it was too cold in vegas to go out in anything except boots, sweaters and a big coat. since we were talking new years resolutions though, we'll just pretend :)
boyfriend blazer: h&m (similar), t shirt: nordstrom (similar), sequin pants: jmr boutique (similarsimilar)
shoes: c/o windsor (similar), clutch: steve madden, watch: thrifted, spike bracelet: brandy melville, rings: f21

  15. I have seriously been looking for a good place to get these pants for 3 days now. I love that these are more of a rose gold. Both of the places you listed as similar are sold out- Do you have any ideas of other places that carry these pants? Thank you!

    1. I looked far and wide and the closest thing I could find were these HERE: http://rstyle.me/~2d6Zx and HERE: http://rstyle.me/~2d7fp ... I also found these which are super cute but a little expensive : http://rstyle.me/~2d7fJ ...
They are a little out of season so there wasn't a ton, but I hope that helps!! :)
