Messy loose waves with NUME

It's always a good day when we are talking HAIR and today is one of those days! I teamed up with NUME to bring you one of my favorite curling wands that I've ever used and not only is it a favorite but it's a fivefer. You know, similar to a twofer, except you get FIVE for one (I know, so creative) so stop laughing at me and let's get down to business!
Today I'm showing off my messy loose waves and using the largest barrel (32MM) to get fuller and looser curls. So here's the few quick steps to getting these lovely loose curls:

After allowing my hair to air dry I use a heat protectant on my hair and then section two sections of hair, top and bottom.
For the bottom layer, I start about a third of the way down my hair before starting to curl because we want these nice and loose and the top layer will kind of waterfall into the bottom layer.
Holding the curling iron at a slight angle going downward (as seen in the photos) I wrap the hair backwards leaving about an inch of the ends out.
On the top layer, starting a few inches away from your part, repeat the same steps.
Once finished curling, I use the NUME Argan Oil to run through about halfway down to the ends, this will give that shine and help keep the ends healthy.
Then I just tousle and run my fingers through it a little to give it a little bit of that messy look, and viola! The perfect messy loose waves for your less than "put together" look, which we all love! They almost look beach-y, but still structured enough that you don't look like you just rolled out of bed :)
