maternity photos

26.9.13

i have had the opportunity to work with a couple of amazing photographers recently and have my maternity photos done! i wanted to have a mixture of looks and have LOVED what i've seen so far! these were a few of my favorites from my shoot with kelli france. we went with a little more of the boho look and these so happened to be the "bare belly" photos which are mostly for me, but i loved how sweet they turned out so i had to just share a couple!
also, kelli will be teaching a beauty bootcamp class on oct. 1 in springville for all women! you can contact her at 719.339.0818 for more information on pricing!

  3. These photos are absolutely stunning!! You should not only keep these for yourself!! You should share them with your family, too!! And friends!! The beauty of pregnancy is a gift to be shared!! I do understand if you're a bit more modest then others!! I just feel it should be celebrated in every way...even if it shows a touch of skin...lol!!

  7. While I find these pictures beautiful I can't help but point out that you have such a podium to be a good example of the LDS faith to the fashion industry. Obviously you are not wearing clothes held up to standard. I hope your daughter doesn't look at these and question why mommy isn't dressing like she should. Show off your belly but do it respectfully,

    1. I am so very sorry that you feel this way because these are absolutely not meant to be a disregard for my religion and values, just purely a beautiful maternity photoshoot for me to remember this time in my life. It makes me sad that women look at it in a way of being disrespectful to the LDS religion because it is absolutely nothing of the sort. I don't pick and choose when and where to wear my garments and am 100% temple worthy, but did choose to do a photoshoot to remember my pregnancy. I guess I don't know of a "respectful" way to show off your belly in this sort of situation and thought these were done tastefully.
