watching the snow fall...

well, it happened.

i know it is bound to happen every year, whether i'm ready or not

and yesterday, November 9th was it's choice day.

we got our first real snowfall here in the "greatest snow on earth" state itself!

i always have such mixed feelings. snow means holidays, fireplaces, hot chocolate, bundling up, and all the snow sports us utahans love. but it also means freezing cold days, scary roads, lots of staying inside and a winter that feels like it will never end. 

if i had it my way, i would just cut down on our winter months so i could have my cake and eat it too. but apparently meteorology doesn't care much for what i think.

i guess i don't really have much to complain about, i'm curled up with a fuzzy blanket, next to my fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and watching gossip girl. 

snow, you can't get me down. so go ahead...
