spring has sprung!

yesterday was just nice enough i busted out my spring colors and new comfy skirt! i died over this color when i saw this skirt because it's different than anything i own (i also got it the day before easter, so bright colors may have been on my mind). the color and shape are so flattering (which can be tricky with orange) and the length is perfect! i'm hoping this will be one of those things i can continue to wear throughout pregnancy because it is perfect for spring/summer!

i also have to point out that i've never. ever. been a dress/skirt wearer, unless it's to church. i think it was mostly because i felt like i was always too dressed up, but there are so so many cute ways to dress down a dressy skirt! take this outfit for example- i probably wouldn't wear a "skull and roses" tee to church, but out for the day with a cute printed jacket, it totally works! i ran errands, did lunch, and felt so comfortable... and cute!
