We had so much fun celebrating the hubs' birthday this last weekend and what better place to spend it than at The Grand!
One of our favorite places to getaway has always been The Grand America Hotel here in Salt Lake City! It's truly the most beautiful hotel in the valley and feels like an elevated, more relaxing home away from home ❤️
Also, a fun fact about The Grand America - It was the hotel we spent our first night as a married couple and definitely holds a special place for us both!
We were greeted with the most beautiful birthday cake from La Bonne Vie which was as delicious as it was pretty! Hubby couldn't even wait for me to get a photo before he dug in 😆
We headed out for dinner at a favorite steak house (also, highly recommended by the concierge) and ended up sitting right by and getting to meet Kevin Costner! Of all the birthday presents I got him, this may have topped the cake!
One of my favorite things to do is walk the grounds at night at The Grand America. It is absolutely beautiful during the day, but at night... WOW. The fountains, the lights, and glow that the courtyard has is such a sight at night!
The next morning we had an 80 minute couples massage (highly recommended!) and spent the morning relaxing and enjoying all that The Grand Spa has to offer. I feel like the extra twenty minutes is worth every penny because we left feeling so refreshed and relaxed! Everything down to the natural honey infused shampoo and conditioner that the spa offers (which is a must try and must buy!) is unlike any other spa! ❤️
After getting cleaned up we headed over to the Little America for brunch at the Lucky H. We had worked up a good appetite lounging around at the spa all day and it was the perfect topper on a relaxing morning. The Belgian waffles with all the fixin's and the pastries were both major hits!
I loved getting to celebrate this special guy. He spoils me every day and I'm so lucky to have him, so getting to treat him is always so much fun!
