dress it up or dress it down: pleather skirt

 i know i've taken off a few weeks from doing a dress it up or dress it down post, but i recently got this fab skirt and when i wore it sunday i wanted to wear it with everything! it actually works quite well with so many things that i figured i would add another item to my "dress it up or down" menu! so here's how i:

i guess i really can't say i dressed this "up" all the way, because technically i'm wearing a comfy sweater, but with the skirt i felt it definitely gave a chic look, especially when adding the heels, bag and sunnies. it is true, sometimes less is more, and i loved this look and slightly felt like audrey hepburn, maybe it's the sunglasses or because she wears a similar skirt in roman holiday, definitely a classic 50's look. if it does reflect anything close to an audrey look, then you know it's nothing short from fabulous or chic! :)

as for dressing it down, well if you saw my post here a little while ago, you would of known i had been planning this one for a while! i love the camo jacket (or really anything camp in that case) and why wouldn't i pair it with a fab faux leather skirt?! i would have loved to wear flats but because the skirt is longer it cut of my legs, so a casual, comfy wedge went perfectly for a slightly dressed down comfy look! it is also a perfect "spring" outfit for utah and was light enough for our lovely 70 degree days we have been having lately! hallelujah!
