hey ya'll...

this may be a little dude ranch meets 5th ave, but i couldn't help myself with this amazing fringe blouse from nordstrom. i have been eyeing it for over a month and a half now and finally decided it was worth it. it didn't even sit in my closet 24 hours before i had it on and i don't regret it one bit. sometimes i look at pieces like this and think "ridiculous" and "seriously, who would wear that"... but then every once in a while something completely off catches my eye and i can't stop thinking about how i could make it work and how much it could add to an outfit! this, my friends, was one of those pieces. this may not be the best "out and about" for errands type outfit, but it was definitely a hit while perusing through the mall for a few minutes and maybe lunch with the girls. i also have to point out one of my other new favorite pieces, this porcupine quill necklace by wild ivy! i saw this idea in a boutique a while ago and since then have so badly wanted porcupine quill jewelry, and wild ivy makes these stunning pieces that i couldn't get enough of! 

oh. ps. we are finding out the gender of little one today and i'm kind of anxious/excited/nervous/hormonally challenged today and i can't wait to find out! i will make sure to reveal the good news as soon as possible :) thank you lovelies for reading and i seriously adore you all. all your sweet comments make my day each day so thank you, thank you!! <3
