million dollar tan tutorial!

25.5.13

ahhh, finally! i finally was able to get this video to upload. it only took two weeks of trying, but i got it :) ...don't mind me, i'm just patting myself on the back.
ok, so i've had a few questions about if i use any self tanners or at home products, and the answer is: yes!....sometimes. haha. obviously, after hawaii and during the summer when i'm out in the sun a lot i don't have an issue with that area, but i had recorded this video a few days before i left to hawaii and hadn't seen the sun since last september! self-tanners definitely get me through the winter without feeling completely deprived and this one in particular has become a quick favorite. million dollar tan is quick, easy to apply, and gives a great, even color. i've also recently been even more concerned about what i'm putting in or on my body, but million dollar tan is made from organic products and isn't harmful in any way to me or the babe.
as for the rest... well... check out the video!

also, just a couple of quick photos from posts where i had used MDT for a quick summer glow sans tanning bed! :)

  1. Thanks for the tip...I could definitely use this! My issue with all of the products I've tried, is that they can rub off onto my sheets, clothes, etc. How does MDT compare?

    1. That has always been one of the most frustrating things after I've used self tanners or even gotten out of a professional spray tan bed is that it rubs all over everything! As long as you give this stuff enough time to fully dry (usually about 5-10 min) it doesn't rub off on anything! I was actually very impressed with that because it drove me nuts about all the other products!

  2. Million Dollar Tan is the greatest! I absolutely love it. I love how it doesn't stain things, and it isn't orange. They definitely have it figured out.

  3. Are there any tricks you use to help blend the color of your arm to your hands and your legs to your feet and ankles? I just got some of the spray and my wrists and feet turned out really streaky. I was so bummed because I was so excited to get it, I'm just hoping since it was my first time I will find a good technique that will work for me, but I just figured I would ask if you had any good tips. Thank you! :)

    1. I definitely noticed that EVERY self tanner seems to do that around your wrists and ankles- I just try to use as little as possible when blending there and once I'm done applying it I will actually wash my hands really good and use a damp towel to pat those areas so it fades more on those areas. Try that and hopefully it works for you!
