alright, i've drug it out long enough now seeing that we've been home over a week and a half, but i wanted to show off a few last photos of our lovely hawaii trip.
this was the night of the luau. great food, amazing dancing and one of the prettiest sunsets we saw all trip!
i even caught a pretty cool photo of hubs taking a picture of the sunset.
these next few pictures were our trip on the road to hana and the hike up to the seven sacred pools. it was about a 3 1/2 hour drive up the windiest road i've ever seen! the drive was long, but SO worth it (and luckily baby was good to me and i didn't get sick one time!) the pictures are of the view during the drive and once we reached the top it was another 2 1/2 mile hike up to the falls, so just a few shots that we got along the way :)
the bamboo forrest was amazing. possibly one of the coolest things i've ever seen. 30 foot bamboo as far as the eye could see and so thick that you could barely walk through it in some spots. the best part was that it started pouring at one point and we found a cool little cave and hid until it let up in the forrest. truly a once in a lifetime experience!
ahh, the falls! we had seen the smaller waterfalls and pools along the way, but this was the grandaddy of all falls! it was gorgeous. absolutely amazing and you couldn't even begin to tell where the water was coming from it was so high up!
after a long day, some serious carbs were needed! i'm not normally a burger kinda girl, but i didn't feel one bit bad about downing this entire thing. it. was. amazing.!!
i normally wouldn't be showing these off seeing that i was almost 20 weeks pregnant at this point, and really not feeling that fab in a two-piece swimsuit- but i absolutely loved this suit and had to give a little shout out to albion fit for providing such adorable suits for my trip!!
suit: c/o albion fit
one more photo of some of the amazing food we had on our trip! our last night before we headed to the airport we had been craving fish tacos, and apparently captain jack's knew just what we needed! some of thee best fish tacos ever!
one last panoramic of a beautiful sunset. thanks for being so good to us hawaii! it hopefully won't take us too long to get back!
Wow! That panoramic picture is so gorgeous!! And I love, love that yellow suit! 20 weeks?! What 20 weeks? You look amazing!

ReplyDeletePeople would kill to look that good not pregnant so you should just be loving it! You look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI actually found you via the $1500 giveaway, and I couldn't be more elated that I did. Some of these pictures you took in Hawaii are exact places I stood about a year ago. My heart is still there, in fact. My husband and I dream daily about living there, specifically in Kauai -- my favorite place on earth.
ReplyDeleteI'm several weeks behind you, but I'm pregnant too. I hope to get some maternity fashion ideas from you. :-)
