red, white & blue

the best part about these photos is that these were actually taken on monday (which was president's day) and i had not one intention of wearing red, white and blue OR sporting an american flag iPhone case! but somehow, i ended up doing both. it literally dawned on me as we were downtown taking photos that no one was in the buildings because they were government buildings and they had the day off! 

so what we have here is another amazing find from urban philosophy (don't forget to enter their giveaway for a $50 gift card which is still going on!). this site is by far a new favorite and whoever the lucky winner is of the giveaway will have a hard time not spending triple the giveaway amount! ;)

as for me, today i am headed off to magic in vegas for what i hear will be quite the experience and i absolutely can't wait. magic is one of the largest fashion conventions around with over 85,000 people attending, and i can't wait to be one of them! i may be a little m.i.a to the blog world due to the next few crazy days, so bear with me. but for now, enjoy my unintended patriotic post :)
